Terms of Service

Last updated 10/10/2026

The agreement between you and Elyora: what the service does, what you may publish, what it costs, and where each side's responsibility ends.

1. Agreeing to this

Creating an account, publishing a course or buying one means you accept these terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a school or a company, you confirm you may bind it.

2. What Elyora does

Elyora is the platform: it hosts video, transcribes and indexes material, runs an AI tutor and an authoring agent, and processes payments. The courses belong to the instructors who publish them. We do not write, review or endorse their content, and an instructor is the seller of their own course.

3. Your account

Give accurate information, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if an account is being used without permission. An account belongs to one person; a workspace can have several members, each with their own.

4. Plans and fees for instructors

Publishing involves three charges: an entry fee when you start, a monthly maintenance fee, and a fee on each sale. You set the price of your course and keep it, less that fee and the payment processor's own charges. Video and file allowances count across all of your courses together, and the current figures are the ones shown in the app when you choose a plan.

Fees already incurred are not refunded when you cancel; cancelling stops the next cycle.

5. Buying a course

A purchase gives you personal access to that course for as long as it is published, on the account that bought it. It is not a licence to download, re-publish or resell the material. Refund requests go to the instructor who sold the course, and we carry out the refunds they approve.

6. Your content stays yours

You keep every right you have in what you upload. To run the service you grant us the permission it takes to do so: to store your material, transcribe and index it, generate summaries and answers from it, and show it to the students you have given access — and nothing beyond that. We claim no ownership, and the permission ends when you delete the content.

You confirm you hold the rights to what you upload, including to any third-party material in your videos and documents.

7. What you may not do

  • Publish material you do not have the rights to, or that is illegal where your students are.
  • Publish content that is hateful, abusive, sexual involving minors, or that promotes harm.
  • Try to reach another workspace's data, bypass access control, or probe the service for weaknesses without our written agreement.
  • Scrape the platform, resell access to it, or run it as your own product.
  • Use the AI features to produce material that would breach these rules.

8. The AI tutor and the agent

Both read your material and can still be wrong. Answers are a study aid, not professional advice — medical, legal, financial or otherwise. Check what the agent produces before you publish it; actions that change what the public sees, such as publishing a course, stop and ask you first. What goes out under your name remains your responsibility.

9. Connecting Google Drive

Connecting Drive is yours to do and yours to undo. You confirm you may import the files you choose, access is read-only, and your use of Google's services stays subject to Google's own terms. Disconnecting stops our access at once.

10. Availability and changes

We improve the service continuously, which means features change and some are withdrawn. We aim to keep it available but do not promise uninterrupted service, and maintenance happens. If we withdraw something you depend on, we will give you notice where we reasonably can.

11. Suspension and closing an account

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, with notice unless the law or an immediate risk prevents it. You may close yours whenever you like.

Closing a workspace takes its courses down, and the students who bought them lose access. Telling those students and settling anything you owe them is yours to do.

12. Liability

The service is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.

13. Governing law

Brazilian law governs these terms. A consumer may bring a claim where they live; otherwise disputes go to the courts of São Paulo, Brazil.

14. Changes to these terms

A new version is published on this page with a new date, and we announce a material change by email or inside the app before it takes effect. Carrying on using the service after that is how you accept it.
